Let us introduce the latest changes of the migration legislation came into force  in July 2010 after the adoption of the Federal Law  №86 as of May, 19 2010.

Starting from May 31, 2010 Confidence Group moves to a new office located at: 129110, Moscow, Gilyarovskogo street, 57, building 4, 4 floor, office 2.

On February 3, 2010 Deputy director of the FMS of Russia Mr. Smorodin issued an informational letter with the list of organizations which will apply in 2010 for work permit/visa and other related to foreign citizens issues to the Visa questions application center (ЦОГПВВ ФМС России).

On February 5, 2010 with the Order № 34 the Federal Service for Labor and Employment has published the distributed to the organizations Quota for foreign labor hire in 2010.

On December 22, 2009 the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia adopted the order N 1010н for foreign labor hire Quota free positions in 2010.

Starting from January 12, 2010 the Moscow Center for Labor Exchange accepts Quota application for foreign labor hire in 2011 and application for Quota correction in 2010 from Moscow registered employers.
Moscow Center for Labor Exchange moved to a new office located at: Avtozavodskaya str., 23, building15.

On December 23, 2009 the State Duma passed the Federal Law № 374-ФЗ from December 27, 2009 increasing the State fees for migration services for foreign citizens who enter, stay and work on the territory of Russia.

New Year wishes from Confidence Group

Confidence Group is pleased to inform you that starting from October 2009 – World of Confidence, the bilingual common informational system for application control and processing on visa and migration services became FREE for use.

According to the information from the Committee of Labor and Employment of Moscow Region all employers will be able to use the confirmed for 2010 for them Quota for foreign labor hire not earlier than end of December 2009 at the time when the corresponding Protocol (database) will be published.

According to the information from the Moscow Center for Labor Exchange all employers will be able to use the confirmed for 2010 for them Quota for foreign labor hire not earlier than end of December 2009 at the time when the corresponding information (database) will be transferred to the Department of the Centers for Employment.

Starting from September 14, 2009 in order to obtain work permit in Moscow for the citizens from visa countries an employer should present to FMS the notary registered and translated into Russian Appostille of the foreign citizen’s educational certificate.

In accordance with the order of Mr. Molodievskiy - the Head of the Federal Migration Service of Moscow region from August, 14 2009, migration register (registration) of foreign citizens can not be made by local FMS departments of Moscow Region any longer. For migration register (registration) of foreign citizens in Moscow Region a host party should apply to the Department of the Federal Migration Service of Moscow Region, located at the following address: Moscow, Solyanka str., 9A, building 1.

In September 2009 in addition to the Federal Law № 109-ФЗ from July 18, 2006 “On migration register (registration) of foreign citizens in Russia” new FMS order № 159 from July 6, 2009 came into force. The new order determines the periods for processing, duties and order of FMS when applying for foreign citizens’ migration register (registration) in Russia.

Starting from October, 1, 2009 Confidence Group joined the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.

In August 2008, Confidence Group introduced a new bilingual common informational system for application control and processing - "World of Confidence" on its website.

On August 11, 2008 employers registered in Moscow should apply for foreign labor hire and work permits to the Federal Migration Service.

American Chamber of Commerce and Association of European Businesses in Russian Federation together with the Federal Migration Service introduced a new procedure of foreign staff legalization.

Interregional Information and Business Center (Government of Moscow) informs that foreign labor Quota applications for 2009 are accepted till the last Wednesday of August, 2008 at Noviy Arbat, 11.

On August 11, 2008 in accordance with the Interdepartmental Law (№1/4/1/2 dated July 24, 2008) the State Department for Employment has changed the procedure of obtaining foreign labor approvals from the Centers for Employment.

On July 25, 2008 Ministry of Health and Social Development approved the list of positions/profession on which foreign citizens can apply in 2008 outside of Quota requirements.

Until recently, visa support for the employees of Branches and Representative offices of foreign companies (hereafter “Representations”) was provided only by State organizations in which they had been registered (State Registration Chamber, Chamber of Commerce and Industry). In January 2008, the Federal Migration Service of Moscow started to accept the documents for registration of Representations.
